Protecting the Community and Respecting the Taxpayers - It can be done.

Bob believes in the importance of balanced budgets, clear audits, and full financial transparency in local government. The Supervisors are elected to govern, but when doing so, they must always act in a fiduciary capacity on behalf of the taxpayers. That does not mean that every decision will be popular, as sometimes township issues will be difficult. But no matter how difficult, every issue should be discussed in a respectful manner, recognizing that all residents have the right to their opinion.

Every decision should be discussed, explained, and ever dollar spent, properly accounted for. All expenditures must be made with the taxpayers in mind, and with good business ethics and accountability to the taxpayers who actually pay the bills!

Remembering the above is a good way to respect the taxpayers.!

Bob believes in the importance of mutual respect, open discussions, allowing all individuals to express their points of view without ridicule or embarrassment when they have the floor. Being able to disagree without being disagreeable is essential to good government. Balanced budgets, clear and concise policy handbooks and written procedures are important to prevent recurring personnel issues. Long term financial planning and financial transparency in all aspects of local government breeds public trust and citizen involvement.

However, no individual can easily bring about real change without sufficient voter support.
